Frustrated and stressed woman

MY STORY

This wasn’t “just menopause”

For years, I watched highly capable women do everything “right” — build successful careers, lead teams, care for families — all while struggling with exhaustion, brain fog, sleep disruption, weight changes, and emotional volatility.

Too often, they were told it was “just menopause.” Something to push through.

I knew that wasn’t true.

I understood this clinically, but then I experienced it personally.

As a board-certified endocrinologist and internist — and later a physician executive — I saw how hormonal and metabolic shifts directly affect cognition, stamina, emotional regulation, and decision-making. These are not minor inconveniences. They are physiologic changes that deserve structured medical care.

I understood this clinically.

But then I experienced it personally.

When I navigated my own menopause transition — while raising five children, sustaining an intense healthcare executive career, and caring for parents with complex medical needs — the gap in conventional care became undeniable.

You cannot separate a woman’s physical health from her professional performance or her home life.

Physiology drives capacity.

That realization reshaped how I practice medicine.

Professional qualifications

I am a board-certified endocrinologist and internist with advanced fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. I earned my MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and trained at leading academic medical centers including NewYork-Presbyterian and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

In addition to more than two decades of clinical practice, I have held senior physician executive roles, earned a Master’s degree in Operational Excellence, and authored Physician Leader: How Exam Room Experience Drives Leadership Excellence. My published research focuses on the metabolic implications of menopause.

Experience a different standard of care

Midlife transitions deserve more than episodic visits. Structured oversight and integrated endocrine care do more than manage symptoms — they restore stability, protect long-term health, and meaningfully improve how you live and lead.
